The Board has scheduled a 5:00 p.m. non-public executive session; an executive session, if needed, that is to commence at approximately 7:30 p.m. immediately following the 6:00 p.m. regular Board meeting; as well as a special meeting, if needed, to commence at approximately 8:00 p.m. These meetings are to be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
Notice of Public Hearing on Proposal to Modify Dark Fiber Rates Schedules
The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a PUBLIC HEARING on a proposed modification to dark fiber rates schedules, with a proposed effective date as of July 1, 2022. The proposed modification is a discount for fiber used by Springfield Utility Board, Springfield Public Schools, Willamalane Parks and Recreation District, and the City of Springfield (collectively known as Team Springfield).

The Springfield Utility Board adopted Resolution 22-4, Approving a Contract Specific Special Procurement for Electric Transformers, during a special meeting of the Board on May 24, 2022.

The Springfield Utility Board will hold a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The purpose of this meeting is to hold a PUBLIC HEARING regarding proposed Resolution 22-3, adopting findings in support of a staff request for Special Procurement for utilizing design-build contracting for a control enclosure in Glenwood. The Board may also consider adopting proposed Resolution 22-4, approving staff request for a contract specific special procurement for electric transformers. There will also be time allowed for a presentation and discussion related to telecommunications.
