The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a brief special meeting on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. This meeting is open to the public and the purpose of this meeting is to administer oath of office to SUB’s newest member of its Board of Directors for Position No. 2.
The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Friday, January 26, at approximately 5:15 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 5:00 p.m. special meeting. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e) and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
The Springfield Utility Board will also meet in a special work session on January 26, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 5:15 p.m. executive session. This meeting is open to the public and the purpose of this meeting is to allow time for general utility updates. Please note that public comment is not heard during special work sessions.
These meetings will be offered as hybrid meetings and will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. Members of the public are invited to join the special meeting and special work session in-person or remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join remotely will be posted on the agenda prior to the meeting on SUB’s website at www.subutil.com.
