Proposed adoption of an amendment to water system development charges
Amending Chapter 5 – Water, of the Springfield Utility Board policies regarding Development/ Redevelopment Charges.
The Springfield Utility Board (SUB) plans to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, during its 6 p.m. regular board meeting on a proposed amendment to SUB Water Development/ Redevelopment Charge policies to provide for an adjustment in existing water development charges of 12.47% – instead of the previously advertised 12.5% – with a proposed effective date of October 1, 2022, in accordance with existing methodology. There will be no change in the methodology. The Board is expected to consider taking action on a resolution to adopt the proposed amendment to Chapter 5 – Water, of the Springfield Utility Board policies regarding Development/ Redevelopment Charges.
