Notice of Executive Sessions and Special Meeting

The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a non-public executive session pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(h); attorney-client privilege, to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions, and to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties with regard to pending or potential litigation. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, and is to commence at 5:00 p.m.

SUB’s Board will also meet in a non-public executive session, if needed, pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(h); attorney-client privilege, to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions, and to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties with regard to pending or potential litigation. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 13, and is to commence at approximately 7:30 p.m., following conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular Board meeting. If deliberations are finalized at the 5:00 p.m. executive session, the Board may cancel this executive session.

The Board also scheduled a special meeting, if needed, and is to be held on Wednesday, July 13. This meeting is open to the public and is to commence at approximately 8:00 p.m., following conclusion of the 7:30 p.m. executive session. The purpose of this meeting is to allow any potential Board action following executive session.

These meetings are being offered remotely and in-person in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. A detailed agenda, with instructions to join remotely, will be posted prior to the meetings on SUB’s website at www.subutil.com.
