The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday, October 11, at 5:00 p.m., prior to its 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), ORS 192.660(2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(h): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys; and to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties with regard to pending or potential litigation.
The meetings will be offered as hybrid meetings and will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. Members of the public are encouraged to join the regular board meeting in-person, or remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join the regular board meeting remotely will be posted on the agenda prior to the meeting on SUB’s website at www.subutil.com. Public comment to the Board is invited during the Business from the Audience portion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. Public comment may also be submitted in advance by Noon on October 11, by using the email link provided on the agenda.
