The Springfield Utility Board (SUB) plans to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, during its 6 p.m. regular board meeting on proposed Resolution 22-2, a Resolution of Necessity, Declaring the Need to Acquire Certain Property Interests in Electric Infrastructure to Serve Property Located within the City of Springfield. The Board is expected to consider the adoption of Resolution 22-2, approving the Resolution of Necessity and associated findings, as presented, and authorize the General Manager to proceed with the validation action.

SUB Board meetings are currently offered as hybrid meetings in its Board Meeting Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield, and limited seating may be available. Members of the public are encouraged to join the public hearing during the regular board meeting, via phone or internet, and will be prompted during the public hearing to share input with the Board.

An agenda will be available on the SUB’s website, prior to the meeting, with instructions to join. Public comments may also be submitted in advance by Noon on April 13, to be entered into the record by using the email link provided on the agenda.
