May 13 Executive Sessions, Special Work Session, Regular Board Meeting, and Special Meeting

The Springfield Utility Board will meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(a), ORS 192.660(2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(h). Members of the public are invited to attend the special work session on May 13, in person or remotely. Please Note: Public comments are not heard during special work sessions. The Board will then hold its regular board meeting at 6:00 p.m. on May 13. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session, at approximately 7:00 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(a), ORS 192.660(2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(h). The Board also plans to hold a special meeting, if needed, immediately following the conclusion of the 7:00 p.m. executive session. The purpose of this session is for potential Board action following executive session.

The Board also plans to hold a special meeting, if needed, on Thursday, April 23, at approximately 12:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the executive session.

The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(a). The Board will hold its regular board meeting at a delayed start time at 6:30 p.m. The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on April 8, at approximately 7:00 p.m. pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(d). The Board plans to hold a special meeting on April 8, at approximately 7:15 p.m., immediately following the 7:00 p.m. executive session. The purpose of this session is for potential Board action following executive session. The Board will then meet in a non-public executive session on April 8, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 7:15 p.m. special meeting pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(a), ORS 192.660(2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(h).

The Board will hold its regular board meeting at 6:00 p.m. on March 11. The Board will also meet in a non-public executive session, if needed, immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660 (2)(d), ORS 192.660 (2)(e), ORS 192.660 (2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(h). The meetings will be held remotely and in-person in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street, Suite F, in Springfield.

Notice of Public Hearings on Proposed Changes to SUB Policies: Chapter 4-Electric, Chapter 5-Water related to Fire Service Use and Fee Schedule related to Water System Development Charges

The Springfield Utility Board hereby issues public notice that it plans to hold public hearings on (1) a proposed modification to the Fee Schedule related to Water System Development Charges and (2) on a proposed amendment to Chapter 5-Water, and (3) on a proposed amendment to Chapter 4-Electric of SUB Board Policies. The public hearings will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, during the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
