The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a Board Retreat Work Session on April 13, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. The purpose of the retreat is to review and discuss various utility topics.
Notice of Executive Sessions of SUB Board
The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold two non-public executive sessions on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The first executive session will be held at 5:00 p.m., prior to the 6:00 p.m. regular Board meeting. The second executive session will be held at approximately 7:30 p.m. immediately following the conclusion of the regular Board meeting.

The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a non-public executive session at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(i); and also plans to meet in a non-public executive session at 7:30 p.m. on March 13, pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f), and immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting.

The Springfield Utility Board’s Economic Development Committee plans to hold a meeting on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in SUB’s Main Office Conference Room located at 250 A Street in Springfield.
Notice of Special Work Session and Executive Session
The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a special work session at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. The purpose of this session is to allow time for review of the Board’s self-evaluation for 2023. The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday, February 14, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
Notice of February 6 Special Board Meeting
SUB’s Board of Directors has scheduled a special board meeting Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to allow a public listening session for the Board to receive public input about the recent ice storm and SUB’s emergency response.
