The Springfield Utility Board adopted Resolution 22-4, Approving a Contract Specific Special Procurement for Electric Transformers, during a special meeting of the Board on May 24, 2022.
The Springfield Utility Board will hold a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The purpose of this meeting is to hold a PUBLIC HEARING regarding proposed Resolution 22-3, adopting findings in support of a staff request for Special Procurement for utilizing design-build contracting for a control enclosure in Glenwood. The Board may also consider adopting proposed Resolution 22-4, approving staff request for a contract specific special procurement for electric transformers. There will also be time allowed for a presentation and discussion related to telecommunications.
The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday.
Regarding proposed Resolution 22-2, a Resolution of Necessity, Declaring the Need to Acquire Certain Property Interests in Electric Infrastructure to Serve Property Located within the City of Springfield.
The Springfield Utility Board also plans to hold a special meeting that will commence at approximately 6 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 5 p.m. executive session on Monday, March 21.
he Board also plans to hold a non-public executive session, if needed, pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(i); attorney-client privilege; and to review and evaluate the performance of the General Manager.

This Special Procurement is for the purpose of entering into a contract, or series of contracts, for a Cyber Backup and Recovery solution.
