The Springfield Utility Board will meet virtually in a Retreat Work Session on Monday, July 20, 2020, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the Work Session is to review SDAO’s Best Practices Assessment and the Board’s self-assessment for 2019, SUB’s 20-Year Strategic Vision, COVID-19 financial impact, the potential to expand SUB services within Springfield’s Urban Growth Boundary and to discuss telecommunications/fiber strategy.
The public may attend the Retreat Work Session virtually, via phone or internet, by following instructions that will be available on the agenda posted on SUB’s website prior to the Work Session. Please note that the Board does not accept public comments during Work Sessions.
The Board also plans to break during its Retreat Work Session to meet virtually in an Executive Session on Monday, July 20, 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(d), and ORS 192.660(2)(f); attorney-client privilege, to deliberate with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations, and to consider information exempt by law from public inspection. The Executive Session is closed to the public.
