Unlike investor-owned utilities driven by profits, SUB exists solely to serve you—our neighbors, friends and fellow residents. This guide introduces programs, tools, resources and tips that make managing your account fast, easy and hassle-free.
Here are a few things to know.
You’ll see City of Springfield charges on your bill.
The City of Springfield is a separate entity that provides wastewater and stormwater. If you have those services, you’ll see them on your SUB statement. That way, you only have one bill to manage instead of two. Learn more about reading your bill here. For questions about wastewater or stormwater, please call the City at 541-726-3696.
You’ll see meter readers in your yard.
SUB meter readers need access to your property so they can read meters every month. Please keep gates unlocked and pets inside or on a leash on meter reading days. We can notify you of your meter reading day. How? When you sign up for an online account, you can choose to have SUB send a text or email letting you know which day we’ll be reading your meter that month, so you can make plans. Learn more about reading your meter.
