The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a special work session to review Commercial Industrial Customer Survey. The public is invited to join this open session. This meeting will commence at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, prior to the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This is an open session; however, the Board does not hear public input during work sessions.

SUB’s Board of Directors plan to hold an executive session on Wednesday, December 8, pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and 192.660(2)(f); attorney-client privilege, to conduct deliberations with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions, and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public disclosure, including written advice from attorneys. This executive session is planned to commence at approximately 5:30 p.m., if time allows following the conclusion of the special work session, otherwise this session may be canceled by Board consensus.

The Springfield Utility Board also plans to meet in non-public executive session, if needed, pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and 192.660(2)(f); attorney-client privilege, to conduct further deliberations with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions, and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public disclosure, including written advice from attorneys. This meeting is to commence at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular Board meeting.

These meetings will be offered in a remote meeting format and in-person in SUB’s Board Meeting Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. SUB continues to comply with current COVID precautions and may have limited in-person access available.

Members of the public are encouraged to join the 5:00 p.m. special work session and the 6:00 p.m. regular Board meeting remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join will be available on the detailed agenda posted to SUB’s website at www.subutil.com. Public comment may also be submitted to the Board in advance by using the email link provided on the agenda, by Noon on December 8.
