The Springfield Utility Board met in a virtual special meeting with SUB’s Budget Committee on Monday, November 9, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. to begin its deliberations on SUB’s proposed 2021 Utility Budget. The second Budget Committee meeting that was scheduled for Monday, November 16, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., if needed, has been cancelled.

The Springfield Utility Board now plans to hold its second virtual special meeting with SUB’s Budget Committee on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this second meeting is for the Budget Committee to complete its deliberations and to make a recommendation to SUB’s Board of Directors on the proposed 2021 Budget, following the public hearing scheduled to be held during the regular Board meeting on November 18.

The public is invited to attend these meetings via phone or internet, by following instructions that will be available on SUB’s website prior to the meeting, and will be prompted for comment during the meeting. The public may also submit public comment in advance, to be entered into the record, via email to subboard@subutil.com by Noon on Tuesday, December 1.
