The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a non-public executive session pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and 192.660(2)(f); attorney-client privilege, to conduct deliberations with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions, and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public disclosure, including written advice from attorneys. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, and will commence at 5:00 p.m.

SUB’s Board will also meet in a non-public executive session, if needed, pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and 192.660(2)(f); attorney-client privilege, to conduct further deliberations with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions, and for further consideration of information or records that are exempt by law from public disclosure, including written advice from attorneys. This meeting will also be held on Wednesday, November 10, and is to commence at approximately 7:30 p.m., following conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting.

The Board has also scheduled a special meeting to be held on November 10, and is planned to commence at approximately 8:00 p.m., after the conclusion of the 7:30 p.m. executive session. The purpose of this meeting is to allow any potential Board action, if needed, following executive session.

These meetings are being offered virtually and in-person in SUB’s Board Meeting Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. To ensure safe public meetings, SUB continues to follow current and up-to-date COVID precautions. Please be aware there may be limited in-person access available.

Members of the public are encouraged to join the 6:00 p.m. regular Board meeting and the 8:00 p.m. special meeting remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join will be available on the agenda posted to SUB’s website at www.subutil.com. Public comment may also be submitted to the Board in advance by using the email link provided on the agenda, by Noon on November 10, to be entered into the record.
