The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in executive session, pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(h); attorney-client privilege, and to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties with regard to pending or potential litigation. The executive session will commence at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, prior to the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting.

SUB’s Board of Directors also plan to hold another executive session following the regular board meeting on Wednesday, September 8, pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(h); attorney-client privilege, and to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties with regard to pending or potential litigation. This executive session will commence at approximately 7:30 p.m., after the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting.

The Board will also hold a special meeting, if needed, on Wednesday, September 8, and will commence at approximately 8:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the 7:30 p.m. executive session. The purpose of this special meeting is to allow any potential Board action, if needed, following executive session.

An agenda for these meetings will be available on SUB’s website prior to the meeting. Members of the public are invited to join the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting and the 8:30 p.m. special meeting remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join remotely will be available on the agenda posted to SUB’s website at www.subutil.com. The public may also submit public comment in advance, by Noon September 8, to be entered into the record by using the email link that will be included on the agenda.
