The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in executive session on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(i), ORS 192.660(2)(f), ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(h); attorney-client privilege, to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the general manager, to consider information or records exempt by law from public inspection, to deliberate with persons designated to negotiate real property transactions, and to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties with regard to current or potential litigation. The Board plans to engage in the services of an outside consultant to facilitate the portion of the executive session related to the general manager performance review. The executive session is planned to commence at 10:00 a.m. and is a non-public session.

A Board retreat work session is also planned for Tuesday, June 15. The retreat will commence at approximately 1:00 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the executive session. The purpose of the retreat is to allow the Board time to review and deliberate on potential Board goals for 2022 and Board priorities.

Please note that public comment is not heard during work sessions, however members of the public are invited to join the Board retreat work session in person, or remotely in audio only mode via phone or internet.
