The Springfield Utility Board has cancelled the special work session that was planned for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. The Board will instead meet in executive session at 5:00 p.m. on September 11, 2024. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on September 11, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; to further conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
Members of the public are invited to join the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in-person or remotely via phone or internet. Those wishing to share input to the Board at the regular board meeting will be prompted during Business from the Audience portion of the meeting. An agenda will be available on the website at www.subutil.com with instructions to join prior to the meeting. Public input may also be submitted in advance by using the email link provided on the agenda, by Noon September 11. The meetings will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
