Members of SUB’s legal counsel have scheduled a special work session at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The purpose of this session is to provide training on ethics and public records to SUB Board members, to discuss the Board appointment process, and to share a review of future Board training. Members of the public are invited to join this special work session in-person or remotely, via phone or internet. Please note public comments are not heard during special work sessions.
The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on October 9, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
The meetings will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. Members of the public are invited to join the 5:00 p.m. special work session and the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in-person or remotely, via phone or internet.
