The Springfield Utility Board hereby issues public notice that it plans to hold public hearings on a proposed modification to the Fee Schedule related to Water System Development Charges and on a proposed amendment to Chapter 5-Water, Section 1-Connections to Service, Policy 5-1-1 – Development Charges of SUB Board Policies. These public hearings will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, during the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
The Board is expected to consider adopting Resolution 25-2, approving the proposed Fee Schedule related to Water System Development Charges; and Resolution 25-3, amending Chapter 5-Water, Section 1-Connections to Service, Policy 5-1-1 – Development Charges of SUB Board Policies. If adopted, the proposed effect date for all applicable permits applied for on or after October 1, 2025.
Members of the public are invited to join the regular board meeting and public hearing in-person or remotely via phone or internet, and will be prompted during the public hearing to share input to the Board. An agenda will be available on the website prior to the meeting at www.subutil.com under Board Meetings with instructions to join remotely. Public comment may also be submitted in advance by Noon on March 12, to be entered into the record by using the email link provided on the agenda.
