The Springfield Utility Board hereby issues public notice that it will hold public hearings on a proposed Resolution adopting a Water System Development Charges (SDC) methodology, project list, and schedule of charges. If adopted, the proposed Water SDC methodology will go into effect for all applicable permits applied for on or after October 1, 2023.
The Springfield Utility Board will also hold public hearings on a proposed Resolution adopting a modification to SUB policy related to Electric Development Charges (different from System Development Charges) and on a proposed Resolution adopting a modification to SUB policy related to Net Metering.
The public hearings will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, during its 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield, Oregon.
Members of the public are invited to join the public hearings in-person or remotely via phone or internet and will be prompted during the public hearings to share input to the Board. An agenda will be available on the website prior to the meeting at www.subutil.com with instructions to join. Public comment may also be submitted in advance by Noon on June 14, to be entered into the record by using the email link provided on the agenda.
Copies of the proposed Resolutions and supporting materials will be available for public review prior to the public hearings.
