Pursuant to ORS 279C.335, the Springfield Utility Board will hold a public hearing to consider a request for exemption from the competitive bidding process for a public improvements contract. The Board is expected to take action on this exemption, which, if approved, will authorize SUB to use an alternative contracting method through a Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) contract for the McKenzie River Water Supply Project.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, during its 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
Members of the public are invited to join the public hearing during the regular board meeting in-person, or via phone or internet, and will be prompted during the public hearing to share input to the Board. An agenda will be available on the website at www.subutil.com with instructions to join prior to the meeting. Public comment may also be submitted in advance by using the email link provided on the agenda, by Noon November 13.
