The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a non-public executive session at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
The Board will hold a public special work session on March 12, at approximately 4:50 p.m., following the conclusion of the 4:00 p.m. executive session. The purpose of this meeting is to allow review of the Board’s self-evaluation of its performance for 2024. Please note that the Board does not hear public comment during work sessions.
The Springfield Utility Board will also meet in a non-public executive session on March 12, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(b), ORS 192.660(2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(i): attorney-client privilege; to consider the dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent; to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys; and to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the General Manager.
The meetings will be offered as hybrid meetings and will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
