The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a special work session at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The purpose of this session is to allow time for a strategic plan check-in and other utility related items. Members of the public are invited to join this special work session in-person or remotely, via phone or internet. Please note that the Board does not hear public comments during work sessions.
The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday, June 12, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. This executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660(2)(e), and ORS 192.660(2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(i): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys, and to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the General Manager.
The meetings will be offered as hybrid meetings and will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield. Members of the public are invited to join the 5:00 p.m. special work session and the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in-person or remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join remotely will be posted on the agenda prior to the meeting on SUB’s website at www.subutil.com under Board Meetings.
