The Springfield Utility Board met in special meeting with SUB's Budget Committee on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. to begin deliberations on SUB’s proposed 2026 Utility Operations Budget. The public was invited to attend in person or remotely. The meeting was held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street, Suite F, in Springfield.
The Budget Committee completed its deliberations on the proposed 2026 Budget during the November 10 meeting. Following consideration of public testimony at the first public hearings on the proposed 2026 rates and budget during the November 12 regular board meeting, the Budget Committee has no further recommendations to the Board. As a result, the second Budget Committee meeting previously scheduled for December 2 is no longer needed and has been cancelled.
The second public hearings on the proposed 2026 rates and budget will be held during the December 10, 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. The meeting will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street, Suite F, in Springfield.
