The Springfield Utility Board will meet in a non-public executive session pursuant to ORS 40.225 and ORS 192.660(2)(a): attorney-client privilege; and to consider the employment of a public officer, employee, staff member, or individual agent. This executive session will commence at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
The Board will hold its regular board meeting at 6:00 p.m. on March 11. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to join the regular board meeting and public hearings to share input with the Board in-person or remotely via phone or internet. Prior to the meetings, the agenda with instructions to join remotely will be available on the website at www.subutil.com under Board Meetings here: Agendas & Minutes. The public may also submit public comment in advance to be entered into the record by Noon on March 11, by using the email link provided on the agenda.
The Board will also meet in a non-public executive session, if needed, immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, ORS 192.660 (2)(d), ORS 192.660 (2)(e), ORS 192.660 (2)(f), and ORS 192.660(2)(h): attorney-client privilege; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations; to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection; and to consult with counsel concerning the legal rights and duties of a public body with regard to current litigation or litigation likely to be filed.
The meetings will be held remotely and in-person in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street, Suite F, in Springfield.
