The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a special work session from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The purpose of this session is to discuss general manager recruitment, and to provide an update on utility financials. Please note that the Board does not hear public comments during work sessions.
The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on June 11, at approximately 7:30 p.m., immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
Members of the public are invited to join the 4:00 p.m. special work session and the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in-person or remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join remotely will be posted on the agenda prior to the meeting on SUB’s website at www.subutil.com under Board Meetings. Public comment may be submitted in advance by Noon on June 11, to be entered into the record during the regular board meeting by using the email link provided on the agenda. The meetings will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
