The Springfield Utility Board plans to hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to SUB Electric Construction Development Charge policies to provide for an adjustment of the advanced engineering fee to $800, with a proposed effective date of July 1, 2025.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, during its 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
The Board is expected to take action to adopt Resolution 25-5, to amend Chapter 4 - Electric of the Springfield Utility Board policies regarding Construction Development Charges.
The public is invited to join the regular board meeting in-person or remotely via phone or internet and will be prompted to share general comments during Business from the Audience. Members of the public will also be prompted during the public hearing to share input to the Board. An agenda will be available on the website at www.subutil.com with instructions to join prior to the meeting. Public comment may also be submitted in advance by Noon on June 11, to be entered into the record by using the email link provided on the agenda.
