We highly recommend providing both an email and phone number, preferably a cell phone. Texting is the fastest way to reach you. If you only have a landline, please provide that instead.

Springfield Utility Board (SUB) utilizes a dedicated text messaging service to send critical emergency notifications, such as public safety alerts and other urgent updates, to our customers.
SUB does not charge customers for this service, however standard messaging fees from your carrier may apply. Participation in this notification program is automatic for all customers who have provided a mobile phone number. These notifications are strictly for emergency communication and are not used for marketing purposes.

- Message frequency may vary based on the urgency of the situation.
- While SUB aims to ensure timely delivery, message delivery may be impacted by network issues or technical difficulties, and Springfield Utility Board is not responsible for any delays or undelivered messages.
- Your contact information will only be used for emergency notifications and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.
