SUB offers an incentive of $1,100 to replace your existing electric resistance tank water heater with a new qualifying heat pump water heater (HPWH, also called a unitary hybrid water heater). Split systems may qualify for a $2,200 incentive. Fill out the Heat Pump Water Heater Incentive Application and submit it to SUB along with your receipt. Eligible products are listed on the NEEA Heat Pump Water Heater Qualified Products List.
