Current electrical infrastructure: 10th Street Substation and Springfield Substation are near and adjacent to the “Downtown” development area. Springfield Substation has physical space to add substation transformers and feeders.
Current water infrastructure: Steam Plant Pump Station is located near and adjacent to the “Downtown” development area. This pump station is connected to the Willamette Heights Storage Tank and transmission water lines that supply existing water demands in SUB’s west and north systems. There are distribution water lines in various sizes throughout the “Downtown” development area that have the capacity to serve future developments.
