Pesticides Education

In 2018, in cooperation with OSU Extension Service and Lane Council of Governments (LCOG), with funding from a State of Oregon drinking water protection grant, SUB produced an interactive manual called Keeping It Clean: A Guide to Reducing Risk from Pesticides in Springfield’s Drinking Water Protection Areas. The manual provides comprehensive information for landscape professionals, certified pesticide applicators, occasional users of pesticides, and anyone who wants to learn more about protecting Springfield’s drinking water.

Download the manual here: 2018 PESTICIDE MANUAL

For links to additional resources, including alternatives to pesticides and integrated pest management, see page 20 of the manual.
